Job Description

Your crew during this flight:

In this role, you will be in charge of the successful integration of aircraft systems through envelopes and user interfaces in line with aircraft level requirements. You will be part of the Aircraft Group and will work closely with design engineers, flight test engineers, test pilots, the manufacturing team, and the quality team.

Your mission during this flight:

  • Apply and refine Human Factors procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the pilot vehicle interactions
  • Generate and refine Human Factors requirements in close coordination with stakeholders, e.g. system engineers, test pilots
  • Apply the change request process (including potential limitations)
  • Assist in configuration management
  • Refine and perform various type certification activities, including design reviews, human factor assessments and tests
  • Assist with the integration of concepts and procedures, and coordinate the implementation of systems

 

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with additional professional experience or education in human factors engineering or ergonomics engineering
  • Good knowledge of human factors standards and guidance documents
  • 5+ years professional experience in V&V of complex, high-reliability systems
  • Good knowledge of all aircraft systems and aircraft flight physics
  • Proficient with quality management and processes
  • Experience with Human Factors in aerospace industry

Preferred skills:

  • Self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Organizing ability as well as a high sense of liability and accountability, hands-on attitude.
  • Excellent communication, and negotiation skills and comfortable interfacing with all levels of personnel
