Your team


Join our TISP Team and work together with our Mobile Core Engineers, Networking Engineer and DevOps Engineers on operation and maintenance of the platform components with focus on the platform’s database design maintenance. The team members are distributed over different countries in Europe; thus, all team engagements are done online. 

This position is 100% remote based in Europe. Additionally, if the new hire is in Latvia or Germany, they will be welcomed to work from our office in Riga or Cologne. 



Your mission


  • Automate and deploy services and components using CI/CD (Gitlab, gitOps etc.) 
  • Create reusable assets, scripts and programs using Terraform, Bash etc.
  • Operation and maintenance: 
  • up & running platform components
  • database migration and management
  • systems up to date with security patches
  • monitoring and alerting
  • problem solving & troubleshooting
  • change and Incident management
  • Participate in on-call service provision 
  • Test services and components within all layer
  • Maintain documentation up-to-date 




Your skills


  • Work experience: 4+ years of work experience in the field of DevOps or as a Software Engineer 
  • Scripting and automation experience: Python, Bash etc. 
  • Linux systems administration experience 
  • IaC experience: Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, etc
  • Configuration Management: Ansible
  • CI/CD: GitLab, ArgoCD 
  • Container orchestration/management: K8S, Helms, etc
  • Experience with AWS
  • Monitoring and Logging skills: Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, ELK Stack
  • Agile experience: Scrum, Kanban
  • Documentation Writing skills: charts, user guides, playbooks 
  • Collaboration and Communication skills in English 
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills 
  • Good-to-have skills: Database management, Cloud and conventional networking (nftables, CNI, VXLAN, VPC, DX, etc), test automation and knowledge of mobile network basics

  • First meeting with Recruiter to align on position details
  • Second meeting with Team Members to have more in-depth technical discussion
  • Third meeting with the Management Team, as the final step of the process
