As an Engineer Electronics (m/f/d) at Roche in Ludwigsburg, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electronic, electrical, and mechatronic components, circuits, assemblies, and modules for our diagnostic laboratory automation systems as well as their electrical architecture. You will develop, evaluate, and implement various electrical and electronic concepts. Together with a team of 7 individuals, you form the Electronics/Electrical Engineering expert team in a dynamic and diverse organization, with representation from over 30 different nations.
Your key responsibilities:
In your role as an Engineer Electronics (m/f/d), you work in an innovative environment and are responsible for challenging tasks.
You will create, optimize, and update necessary developments and documentation regarding product maintenance (change management, obsolescence management, product improvements, complaint processing, and purchasing and manufacturing issues).
You will develop and implement various electrical and electronic concepts and evaluate them using simple to complex methods in terms of meeting requirements in cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with external electronic development partners and conduct analyses, technical calculations, and simulations of electrical circuits and solutions.
You will independently translate product and system requirements into technical requirements and specifications in cross-functional collaboration.
You will create, optimize, and document electrical and electronic architectures for diagnostic laboratory automation systems.
You will participate in technical complaint cases and independently conduct necessary root cause analyses and risk assessments using common methods.
Your profile as Engineer Electronics (m/f/d:
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or similar discipline.
Several years of professional experience in the development and application of complex digital and analog electronics and electrical systems.
Good knowledge in all project phases (requirements management, architecture and design, implementation, verification) of component and device development.
Very good practical experience with ECAD tools, good knowledge of EMC as well as knowledge of electrical safety standards.
You bring expertise in agile product development and can communicate professionally at all levels in an international environment (English C1).
