Mechanical Integration and Design Engineer

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Design and integration of aeronautic mechanical and electrical systems in CATIA V5
• Design of components (sheet metal and/or milled parts) for new installations
• Creation of 3D data drawings (Single Part / Sub-assembly / Installation drawings)
• Creation of parts list or BoM (Bill of Material)
• CAD data management in VPM and release in SAP
• Evaluating and proposing solutions for technical problems
• Review of supplier datasheets
• Co-ordination with different Airbus departments (ex. Stress, Production, Vibrations, Aerodynamics, etc) for new designs and/or installations
• Support to other departments

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Mechanical system design
• Aeronautic environment knowledge
• CAD-tools: CATIA V5 (or equivalent), Enovia VPM (or equivalent)
• SAP for creation of Parts List
• Creation of technical drawings and interpretation
• Fluent in English is mandatory
• Project management
