Production Equipment Engineer (m/f/x)
with the vision to match our ambition!
We are looking for an experienced Production Equipment Engineer (m/f/x) who truly believes that the world needs Special Forces to fight climate change and reduce CO2 emissions.
What you'll do:
- Single point of contact for the equipment manufacturer during the project execution - tracking supplier's progress via regular timeline and task list reviews.
- Escalation to the Scale-up leadership team in case of delays and high risks.
- Responsibility for the assigned part of the manufacturing line.
- Internal responsibility for ensuring that the agreed technical specifications are implemented in the equipment.
- Solving and closing the technical open points related to the equipment.
- Internally distributing and tracking the on-time closure tasks owned by Skeleton.
- Maintaining and structuring the equipment-related documentation for future scale-up phases.
- Internal responsibility over equipment FAT at the manufacturer's site, documenting the FAT report, assignment of post-FAT improvement actions, and contact person for move-in to Skeleton's factory.
- Internal responsibility over equipment commissioning and SAT in Skeleton's factory.
- Documenting the SAT report and ensuring the post-SAT improvement actions are closed on time.
- Drafting the materials for equipment-related internal decision-making in the Steering Committee.
- Internally responsible for keeping the equipment manufacturing on time and on cost.
- Providing daily input to the project back office and Scale-up leadership team regarding the timeline and progress of the assigned manufacturing equipment.
- Creation of required documents for machine suppliers, equipment validation, and for equipment commissioning.
RequirementsYou are a great match if you:
- Have at least 2 years of professional experience in a production environment, preferably in battery cell production, at production equipment manufacturers, machine building or industrial engineering.
- Have carried out at least 1 cell production set-up project, from the set-up of RFQ documentation to SAT and final acceptance.
- Experience in setting up the specifications of production machinery, selection of process technologies
- Structured working style, you are project-focused, on time and on budget, dynamic and flexible. Troubleshooting, creative, and pragmatic problem-solving skills. Strong attention to details in your field of responsibility.
- Analysis and elimination of bottlenecks in production with the stipulation of scientific models (e.g. cycle time studies, usage of partial or full automation)
- Successfully completed studies as an Engineer / Technician in the field of process engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent education.
- Have experience with supplier and customer handling
- Ability to work independently and productively in a dynamic environment.
- Highly driven self-starter, motivated, with excellent communication and organization skills, strong attention to detail in all areas of the position.
- Fluent English language skills, German beneficial.
- Knowledge of the product development phases, process development, and change management.
- Experienced handling of MS Office applications.
