Responsibilities:

  • Our trainee program in the field of engineering covers a period of 18 to 24 months
  • At the beginning, you can expect a well thought-out induction program in which we will qualify you with the appropriate know-how about the systems and specialist topics and thus prepare you for your tasks in the later departments
  • You will then work in different areas: 
  • Defined engineering departments with the aim of working on a wide range of design and development projects (including smart seals) and getting to know the processes in the field of engineering
  • Product management department with the aim of contributing to strategic product and market concepts and further developing existing product strategies with regard to sustainable technological developments and cost efficiency 
  • Product development with the aim of getting to know the connections between design and research and development
  •  If desired: foreign assignment of approx. one month in one of our shared service areas of design (e.g. Mexico, India) with the aim of getting to know the global connections and processes of our company
  • During the program, you will be assigned a permanent buddy and a personal buddy in the respective department as well as a contact person in the HR department
  • During your final assignment in the specialist department, we will review potential opportunities with you and what your future career path with us could look like; you will also receive an attractive salary during the program

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed technical Bachelor's/Master's degree with a focus on mechanical engineering/industrial engineering/process engineering or similar

  • First professional experience in the form of internships in a mechanical engineering company an advantage

  • Experience in working with a CAD system desirable

  • Great interest in future-oriented and sustainable trends and developments in engineering science

  • Proactivity, sense of responsibility, independence, openness to new ideas, team spirit and willingness to learn

  • Confident appearance, excellent communication and a results-oriented way of working

  • Very good knowledge of German and English
